PURPOSE:To peel easily and surely a sensitive material and an image receiving paper by heating the sensitive material and the image receiving paper to a specific temperature or higher after transferring thermally a color picture generated on the sensitive material to the image receiving paper brought closely into contact with the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:Heat of a certain temperature is given to a sensitive material (a) and an image receiving paper (b), which are brought closely into contact with each other through a close contacting part 10, in a heat treatment part 11, and then, the sensitive material (a) is developed thermally, and a silver picture appears in the exposed part, and diffusible coloring matters formed in accordance with this silver picture are diffused and transferred to the image receiving paper (b). The sensitive material (a) and the imge receiving paper (b) after development and transfer are supplied to a peeling part 14 and are peeled; and before this peeling, they are heated through a proper heating means arranged before the peeling part 14. In this case, the peeling capacity is better in comparison with application of a peeling agent to the sensitive material (a) if the temperature for peeling is set to >=80 deg.C. |
