PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-draining device capable of carrying out the draining of cereals in a dipping tank at a short time, readily regulating the water content thereof, and having no fear of rust and failure caused by the water. SOLUTION: A dipping tank 10 has a mesh cylinder 16 installed at the center. A water-draining tool 30 is connected to a drain water-discharging pipe 12 of the dipping tank 10 having washed rice through a connecting pipe 18. The water-draining tool 30 has a jet ejector operated by a driving force of a compressed air from a compressor 20, and produces a sucking negative pressure by the ejector effect. Because the mesh cylinder 16 is extended upward in the dipping tank, the water attached to the washed rice is sucked by the negative pressure from a wide range over high and low parts, and discharged from the discharging pipe 64. |
