PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize a tolerance of a transmission optical beam angle error due to external causes to a transmitter side, while conducting normal communications. SOLUTION: A light is transmitted at an optimum transmission optical beam angle at all times by controlling a transmission optical beam angle variable section 29 via a transmission section 20 of its own equipment so that light spot received at a pilot signal photoelectric conversion section 34 of an opposite party device always comes to the center, based on the transmission optical beam angle information of the opposite party device. The effect of the transmission optical beam angle error is reduced by correcting the beam angle error due to an external cause to the transmitter side in this way. The two-way optical space transmitter is realized, in which alignment adjustment between an optical axis of a transmission section of the transmitter and that of the reception section is not required. |
