<p>PURPOSE:To provide assist characteristics free from a solid difference and a difference between the right and the left by providing a memory to store the zero point and the gain correction value of each sensor and correcting input data by means of data stored in the memory. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 1 is operated by a driver and rotating steering torque is exerted on a steering shaft 2, a pulse signal CP for a given duty ratio is computed by a control unit 9 to input output signals from a torque sensor 6, a steering angle sensor 16, and a car speed sensor, A DC electric motor 7 for steering a power is driven and controlled through a power drive circuit 11 and an electric motor control circuit 12. In this case, the control unit 9 is provided with an E<2>ROM to store the zero point and the gain correction value of each sensor and corrects input data by means of data stored therein. This constitution calculates data having no error and calculates a current value by means of which an assist force is decided.</p> |
