PURPOSE: To provide a plier having an improved operation reliability as well as improving resistance to abrasion or the like of a constituent member. CONSTITUTION: This plier comprises two mutually movable handles 3 and 11, several finishing posts for finishing a conductor end, and a drive device capable of driving the finishing posts. One of the finishing posts can be displaced in its axial direction, and is constituted as a rotatably supported crimp drum 18, and is coupled with a drive device 21 in axially displaced position, and can be locked through a flange radially projecting from the crimp drum 18. The flange extends along the entire circumference of the crimp drum 18, and a recess is provided in the flange. A lock tab 50a is provided in the fixed position of a plier body 2, and is opposed to the flange in a radial direction, and is engaged with the recess in axially stationary position of the crimp drum 18. |
