PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from being gathered at the lower end of a mirror, a silver mirror part from being corroded and auxiliary facilities and fixtures present right below the mirror from getting wet in the mirror for a bathroom and for a wash and dressing table. SOLUTION: On the surface of a fog-proof member main body (the mirror 3,) a hydrophilic surface layer provided with an optical semiconductor is formed. A gutter 5 is provided below the lower edge 4 of the mirror 3 and the gutter 5 receives the water dropping down from the lower edge 4 of the mirror 3. On the bottom of one end of the gutter 5, the upper end of a water discharge tube 7 is connected and the water dropping down to the gutter 5 is discharged through the tube 7 to the inside of a bowl 9.
