PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and economize an optical line test system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with transmitters 1 and 8 for performing optical communication with an optical fiber 5 as a medium, a photocoupler 4 for inputting test light to the optical fiber 5 and optical filters 2 and 7 for transmitting communication light and interrupting the test light right in front of the transmitters 1 and 8. The photocoupler 4 is provided with four input/ output ports (a), (b), (c) and (d), the optical fiber 5 for performing the optical communication is connected to the ports (a) and (c) among them and a 1×N optical fiber selection device 10 is connected to the port (b). A stabilized light source 9 for outputting the modulation light of a wavelength band longer than the communication light as the testing light is connected to the movable side of the optical fiber selection device 10, the optical filter 11 for reflecting only the testing light is connected to the port (d) and a non-reflection terminal 12 for absorbing both of the communication light and the testing light is connected at the end. |
