PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malodor from emitting from a tobacco nicotine, or the like, sticking to the inner surface of an ashtray. SOLUTION: This ashtray 10 for vehicles is obtained by installing a photocatalytic part 30 containing titanium oxide and further providing a light irradiating part 40 for irradiation with light toward the photocatalytic part 30. The photocatalytic part 30 and the light irradiating part 40 are provided on the inner surface of a freely openable and closable lid part 12. When the photocatalytic part 30 and the light irradiating part 40 are provided on the inner surface of the lid part 12 of the ashtray 10 as described above, smoke rising from the interior of the ashtray 10 can be captured with the photocatalytic part 30 to more effectively remove a malodor. A light source installed in the light irradiating part 40 can be utilized for illuminating the ashtray 10. |
