PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically controlled mechanical clock, easy to handle, improving in yield, and capable of increasing in electromotive force and easily detecting a rotational frequency. SOLUTION: A generator 30 for the electronically controlled mechanical clock has a rotor 12 rotated in linkage to the rotation of a gear train, two plate stators 31, 32, a pair of semiconductor stator holes 35, 36 formed in one ends of both stators 31, 32 and arranged in the form of a circle around the rotor 12 with both stators 31, 32 combined, and coils 33, 34 wound on the outer periphery of at least one of the stators 31, 32. The stator holes 35, 35 are constituted by two stators 31, 32, eliminating the need for an external notch required for an integral stator, facilitating handling and improving the electromotive force.
