PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a system capable of preventing a magnetic card to be used as electronic money to be substituted for a prepaid card, various identification certificates and cash from being illegally used. SOLUTION: Ciphered data are recorded in a magnetic card. A cipher code is generated by the time series of a non-linearly quantized chaos and the ciphered code is deciphered by its reverse process. A cipher key itself or a part of the key is used as data to be recorded and the data are used as a unitarily managed code. In the case of collating a card user, 'soft certification' based on recorded personal information is executed in addition to 'hard certification' only based on an identification number. |
