<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance operation support system which can maintain the overall reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance operation support system has a communication link monitoring means for determining whether a communication link is successfully formed, based on either or both of a transmission method and a communication procedure applied to the communication link, and a confounding interface means for providing a communication interface for a confounding communication link formed to other counterpart maintenance operation support system under duplexing. In addition, an alternative means for relaying messages to the other counterpart maintenance operation support system via the confounding interface means and confounding communication link, if a result of the determination with the communication link monitoring means is false, and a transfer means to retrieve a message given via the confounding communication link and the confounding interface means and transfer the message to a terminal to be a destination out of the terminals via the communication link. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
