摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation curing composition having excellent pattern accuracy and to provide an optical waveguide and a method for manufacturing an optical waveguide by using the above radiation curing composition. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical waveguide having a lower clad layer, a core part and an upper clad layer, at least one of the lower clad layer, the core part and the upper clad layer is a cured product of the radiation curing composition comprising the components (A) to (C). The components are: (A) at least one compound selected from a group consisting of hydrolyzable germanium compounds expressed by general formula (1): (R<SP>1</SP>)<SB>p</SB>Ge(X)<SB>4-p</SB>, their hydrolyzed products or condensed products; (B) a photoacid generator; and (C) an organic solvent.
