PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus that sterilize containers in a short period of time. SOLUTION: In a forming and filling line for synthetic resin containers 2, atomized hydrogen peroxide solution serving as a germicide is fed into the synthetic resin container 2 (step 3), an inner stopper 5 is driven onto a mouth plug part 2b of the container 2 wherein the atomized matter is fed and the container 2 is sealed up (step 4) and after that, the sealed-up container 2 is kept in holding for a specified period of time at a specified heating temperature. The heating temperature is set at a level lower than the transition point of glass, the material constituting the container 2, and desirably at 35 deg.C-60 deg.C. |
