PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing a rotation and feed device and at making the same lightweight, by providing a reduction means between a second motor and a nut member to control first and second motors so that the differential motion between a feed screw and the nut member is used for rotation, slight movement and fast feed of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Due to the provision of a reduction means composed of a drive gear 30 and a driven gear 31, the rotational speeds of both nut member 15 and feed screw 12 are different from each other. Accordingly, when a first motor 13 is reversed while a second motor 25 is normally rotated, the rotational speed of the feed screw 12 relative to the nut member 15 is made to be lower than that when the nut 15 is stopped, and therefore, an output shaft 16 is rotated in the positive direction while it is slightly moved toward the left. Accordingly, the motors 13, 25 may be controlled in three of normal, reverse and stop conditions by means of simple logic switches, and further, the output shaft 16 may be driven in nine motional patterns by combining these conditions, and therefore, the output shaft 16 may be rotated, slightly moved and fast fed. As a result, no variable transmission is required, thereby it is possible to aim at miniaturizing the rotation and feed device and at making the same lightweight.
