PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a decompression time in a cavity, to prevent jetting of molten metal without enlarging a chill vent, to shorten a casting cycle, and to increase manufacturing efficiency in a die-cast product, in a casting metal mold used for a vacuum die-cast method.SOLUTION: A casting metal mold is formed with a chill vent 4 provided with a waveform gas vent passage 3, an exhaust passage 5 for introducing gas in a cavity 2 to an external part when filling molten metal 1 together with this chill vent 4 and a shutoff valve 15 for preventing surplus molten metal from flowing out to the external part by blocking up the exhaust passage 5 just before filling the molten metal 1 in the cavity 2. In this case, the present invention forms a passage 51 as the exhaust passage 5 on a mold register surface of a fixed chill block 8 and a movable chill block 9 for forming the chill vent 4, and the shutoff valve 15 is desirably provided in any one chill block for forming the chill vent 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
