PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte for an all-solid battery, which can be readily and safely manufactured from an easily available raw material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrolyte including ion-conducting crystal capable of conducting Li ions comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a raw material including a first raw material containing Li and a second raw material composed of an oxide to form a frit; (b) fusing the frit to form molten glass; (c) quenching the molten glass to form a crystallized glass precursor; and (d) performing a thermal treatment on the crystallized glass precursor to form crystallized glass including the ion-conducting crystal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
