A flexible container for fluids pressurised at a higher than atmospheric pressure, comprises an inner component of synthetic film, and an outer reinforcing component of a flexible sheet material such as paper. The inner component has a fillng hole in ts wall, and apart from ths s hermetically sealed, whilst the reinforcement encloses the nner component, and also has a hole larger than and positioned to suit the filling hole to leave s pace all round for a sealing patch. The support given by the outer component during inflation and filling allows use of thinner film, thus reducing the cost. |
