The invention concerns an electrically triggered safety-deposit box lock with a housing (1), a locking bar (2), a control lever (5) provided with magneto inductor (4) and influenced by the locking bolt (5), a fixed solenoid (3) and a locking device coupled with the control lever (5). The task of the invention is to design the magnetic mechanism as especially simple and reliable. In accordance with the invention a lateral slide (6) serves as the locking device and is displaced against the force of a spring, whereby one end of the control lever (5) is supported on the lateral slide (6) and a control pin (2a) of the locking bar (2) touches on a control bevel (5b) of the control lever (5).
