PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce the size and the manufacturing cost of a weight detector, and improve the detecting accuracy by simplifying the structure and signal processing. CONSTITUTION:When an article supporting stage 2 is driven with a driving motor 6, the weight of an item to be measured 5 on the article supporting stage 2 is converted into a load torque applied on the driving motor 6 with a torque-converting means 4. The load torque of the driving motor 6 is detected by a load detecting coil provided in the driving motor 6 itself. The weight of the item to be measured 5 is indirectly measured from the correlation of the load torque and the load based on the detected load torque. |
