PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an unpleasant speed reducing feeling in a shift-up time. SOLUTION: In this control method, a gear type transmission 3 is shift controlled automatically, by a clutch actuator 6 to connect and disconnect a clutch which transmits the power of an engine 1, and an automatic transmission device 7 to carry out the shift operation of the gear type transmission 3. In this case, when it is made in the condition to shift up from the present shift stage to the next shift stage, the engine torque is reduced to a specific value by an engine torque automatic reducing means 15 regardless of the operation of an accelerator pedal, and after that, the clutch 2 is cut off by the clutch actuator 6, the shift stage is changed to the next shift stage by the automatic transmission device 7, and after the engine torque is generated by the operation of the accelerator pedal by releasing the engine torque automatic reducing means 15, the clutch 2 is connected by the clutch actuator 6. |
