PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator capable of developing vibration approximate to rotary vibration while keeping miniaturization, lightweightness and low cost. SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric vibrator wherein one end of a long leaf spring 1 having a piezoelectric element 5 bonded and fixed to at least one surface thereof is fixed to a predetermined base material 6 and the other end of the leaf spring 1 is vibrated in the thickness direction of the leaf spring 1 by applying AC voltage to the piezoelectric element 5, the leaf spring 1 is fixed to the base material 6 at a predetermined angle θ and, since the bending vibration and rotary vibration in the thickness direction of the leaf spring can be developed by differentiating the distance L1 from the vibration end 3a in one long side of the leaf spring to the fixed end 2a thereof from the distance L2 from the vibration end 3b in the other long side of the leaf spring 1 to the fixed end 2b thereof, a vibrator having vibration function high in body feeling can be realized by a dimension almost the same as that of a conventional piezoelectric vibrator. |
