The table (1) hinge mechanism acts between two supports (12, 13), to allow the table to move between a position, roughly vertical, hanging down, and a horizontal position. The mechanism is designed to allow the table to rotate around a horizontal axis (XX). It is fitted with an elastic mechanism (16, 17, 23, 24), which is designed to hold the table in its two extreme positions.
