The light guide has a distal end (43) formed with an end face of circular segment shape (42), defined by a plane oriented orthogonal to the axis of the hollow needle (30), a slanted surface (44) adjacent the end face (42), and extending rearward at an acute angle, with the slanted surface (44) being lined by a coating for reflection of incident light rays.</p> |
