METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DRAWING LONG-STAGE CULTURE TOMATO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for drawing the stem (plant body) of long-stage culture tomato by a drawing string in accordance with its growth. SOLUTION: The drawing apparatus 3 is constituted so as to draw the stem of the long-stage culture tomato in accordance with its growth. The drawing apparatus 3 is equipped with a hanging-down member 2 installed above culturing lines of tomato 1, a hanging-down tool 6 detachably hung down from the hanging-down member 2, a rotating drum 8 supported by the hanging-down tool 6 in which either one of the endless drawing string 4 hung down along the stem of tomato 1 is fixed to the stem of the tomato 1 and wound to be rotatable to the drawing direction and enable stopping or release of stopping at the drawing position, a gear 9 for preventing reverse having many engaging grooves 9a in the outer periphery part and a stopper 11 capable of stopping the rotating drum 8 in which the drawing string 4 is wound regularly at the drawing position and releasing stopping and carrying out operation enabling reverse rotation with a single action.
