An oil separator includes a separating portion, which separates oil contained in a gaseous fuel from the gaseous fuel, a drain tank, which stores the separated oil, and a detection mechanism, which detects the amount of storage of the oil in the drain tank. The separating portion is located in the upper area in the drain tank in the vertical direction. The detection mechanism is fixed to a side wall of the drain tank to be located at a position that is lower than the position of the separating portion in the drain tank in the vertical direction. |
