The invention relates to a process for treating a laminated glass pane (30) comprising a plurality of layers. It envisages directing at the laminated glass pane (30) laser beams (24) of a wavelength to which at least an outer layer (31) of the laminated glass pane (30) is permeable, and for which an inner layer (34) has an increased absorption capacity. In this way, it is possible to apply, for example, a logo (35) as forgery-proof marking inside the laminated glass pane (30), or else carry out a selective local heat treatment, for example an embrittlement treatment of a thermoplastic intermediate layer (23). <IMAGE>
