PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the standardization of multi-vendor server equipment as a target of log collection in a remote maintenance support service.SOLUTION: A log collection agent 11 independent of equipment is installed in multi-vendor server equipment 1 included in log collection object equipment, and when a support center 4 makes an order including a log collection request via a router 3 to a notification device 2, a log collection processing part 21 of the notification device gives a log collection instruction to the log collection agent. The log collection agent executes log collection on the basis of a preliminarily stored catalog when receiving the log collection instruction from the notification device, and generates the log collection result of each catalog and the version information of the catalog as an execution log, and archives and compresses the execution log, and returns the execution log to the notification device.
