The assembly comprises a body with a fluid passage terminating in an outlet orifice. The lattern, which is rectangular and relatively narrow, terminates at one end in an inlet opening, and at the other in an outlet opening. The orifice is defined on two opposing sides by flat walls and on its remaining sides by flat-edged walls. The side walls have main sections which converge in the direction of the outlet, and the edge walls diverge towards the outlet. Use relates principally to a nozzle for stripping bark from a tree or descaling metal plates or sheets. |
