The elastic element is used for mounting rails or railway track sleepers, using units made from rubber with metal intermediate plates vulcanised in, for fitting below sleepers. The rubber units (3) are vulcanised in place between a number of flat, upright parallel metal plates (1, 2). The metal plates protrude alternately on the upper and lower sides, those that protrude at the top bearing the sleeper or rail, and those at the bottom being braced against a firm base plate (9a). The planes of the plates and rubber units can run vertically to the direction of travel or in the direction of travel. |
