PURPOSE:To improve yellowing resistance of the base color, by incorporating at least one of monophenols and bisphenols whose melting point is 90 deg.C or above and whose watr solubility is 0.1g/100g or below in the color-developing layer of a thermal recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of at least one of monophenols and bisphenols whose melting point is 90 deg.C or above and whose water solubility is 0.1g/100g or below, prepared by an emulsifier, are incorporated in a color-developing layer coating fluid containing colorless basic dye and a p-hydroxy benzoate ester. Various additives are added thereto, if necessary, to form a coating fluid, which is applied on paper, film or the like. As phenols having said melting point and solubility, 4,4'-butylidene-bis(3-methyl-6-t-butylphenol), 2,2'-methylenebis(4-methyl- 6-t-butylphenol), etc. can be mentioned. |
