PURPOSE:To decrease the power consumption of a camera, by supplying power for a heater circuit of a pickup tube and its remaining circuits through the connection between a video recorder and the camera or the operation of a recording switch of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A heater circuit HC of a pickup tube IT in a camera CA is energized through the application of a power switch SWP operated with a power supply button PB of a recorder VTR. A pickup tube control circuit TCC, video process circuit VPC, automatic diaphragm control circuit AEC and automatic focus adjusting circuit AFC are connected to a power supply line PL so as to supply power from a power supply EE of a recorder VTR via the 1st trigger switch SWT1 applied with the 1st step operation of a trigger button TB. With this constitution, the power consumption of the camera is remarkably reduced. |
