PURPOSE:The reaction between the silica source, aumina source and zeolite ZSM-5 is carried out in an alkali metal aqueous solution to produce a zeolite with a large ratio of cyclohexane/n-hexane adsorbed. CONSTITUTION:The raw materials are dissolved or suspended in water in a proportion of (A) 1g of zeolite ZSM-5, (B) about 0.1-200 millimoles of a silica source (calculated as SiO2), (C) about 0.01-20 millimoles of an alumina source (calculated as Al2O3 and (D) about 1-200 millimoles of an alkali metal (calculated as hydroxyl ions) and their reaction is carried out over about 90 deg.C for 1hr to seven days, then cooled down to room temperature. Then, the reaction product is filtered off, washed with water, until its ion conductivity becomes lower than about 50 microvolt/cm, and dried to give the objective crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite. |
