NEW MATERIAL:A piperazine derivative of formula I (R is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen; n is 2, 3; m is 1-3) and its acid adduct. EXAMPLE:1-[ 2-( 3,4,5-Trimethoxycinnamoyloxy )ethyl ]-4-(2,3,4-trimethoxyphenylmethyl)piperazine. USE:It is used as a medicine for the circulation system, because it has actions on the circulation system such as peripheral vasodilation. PREPARATION:The reaction of a compound of formula II or its reactive derivative with a piperazine derivative of formula III gives a compound of formula I. An acid halide is used as a reactive derivative of the compound of formula II. When a reactive derivative is used, it is preferred to effect the reaction in the presence of an acid acceptor. In case of the reaction between cinnamic acid of formula II and a compound of formula III, the use of a condensing agent is preferred. |
