PURPOSE:To secure a long optical path length in a narrow space and to improve the operability by inclining a plane including the incident light and the reflected light of one corner mirror to that of the other corner mirror. CONSTITUTION:A coner cube is used as the corner mirror. The corner cube is optical parts provided with two reflection surfaces forming 90 deg.. A fixed corner cube 1 and a mobile corner cube 2 are arranged to face each other and are relatively inclined to each other. When an incident light 3 is made perpendicularly incident on an incidence/exit surface 4 of the fixed corner cube 1, the incident light 3 passes a transparent incidence/exit surface 4 and is reflected on a reflection surface 5. A reflected light 6 is reflected on the other reflection surface 7 to become a reflected light 8 and is made perpendicularly incident on an incidence/exit surface 9 of the mobile corner cube 2 and passes this surface end is reflected on a reflection surface 10. A reflected light 11 is reflected on the other reflection surface 12 to become a reflected light 13. Thus, a long optical delay is attained in a narrow space, and the interval and the angle of relative inclination between corner mirrors are varied to precisely control the optical delay throughout a wide range.
