PURPOSE:To float and travel a tape for a contacting member, to prevent a dropout increase and to attain the high speed winding up by blowing out a gas between a magnetic tape and the contacting member and winding up the magnetic ape while the gas is flown in. CONSTITUTION:A pair of reels 6 is incorporated into a cassette case 4 of a video tape cassette 2, a magnetic tape 8, while it contact with both guide pole 10 which is the contacting member and tape pad 12 which is also the contacting member, is travelled from the outside of the case 4, the direction is changed by the pole 10 and the tape is wound to a reel hub 6a. At the time of winding to the hub 6a of the tape 8, the blow-out of an air nozzle 14 is positioned to an opening part 2b for detecting a tape end at the side surface of a case 2 and the blow-in of the air into a case 2 is executed. The air blown out from the nozzle 14 is blown into the tape 8 and the tape pad 12, and the tape 8 floats on the pole 10 and the pad 12 and travels.
