Thermostatically controlled cooling system - is for IC engine and uses additional thermostat in vehicle heating circuit

The system is for cooling an IC engine. The cooling medium is also used for the operation of a heating circuit (7) having in addition to the normal thermostat valve (6) an extra thermostat valve (14). The additional valve is controlled in relation to the temp. of the coolant in the heater return pipe (10), and opens a bridging pipe (12) for additional cooling of the engine when the cooling medium in the return pipe exceeds a lower boundary level. USE/ADVANTAGE - Liq. cooling system which automatically balances the cooling needs of the engine with the heating system demands.
