PURPOSE:To set a shift hold ON-OFF condition down to an optimization for shift hold control at time of braking as well as to control an automatic clutch so properly for its on-off motion. CONSTITUTION:An automatic clutch 2 and a continuously variable transmission 4 are combined together and mounted on a driving system, and a shift hold means 60 for increasing primary pressure forcibly by a shift hold signal out of a control unit 70 is installed in a transmission gear ratio control valve 30 in a hydraulic control system of the continuously variable transmission 4. In succession, not only an ABS operation but a tire lock are predicted by sudden deceleration, a wheel speed drop or the like on a low u road, and shift hold ON is judged, and in the case where brake OFF at time of this shift hold ON and stoppage by a false car speed are judged, shift hold OFF is judged, and shift hold control takes place. When these shift hold ON, OFT operations are judged, the automatic clutch 2 is controlled for its on-off motion at the same time. |
