PURPOSE: To convert thermal energy into electric power economically and efficiently by pre-heating both rich and lean streams in a boiler and providing a stream separator for separating the rich stream into rich secondary streams and a stream separator for separating the lean stream into lean secondary streams. CONSTITUTION: A rich stream and a lean stream are transferred to a boiler 201 under a pressure increased by pumps 207, 208 respectively. Both rich and lean streams are pre-heated in the boiler 201. Thereafter, the rich stream is separated by a stream separator 209 into first and second rich secondary streams, and the lean stream is separated by a stream separator 210 into first and second lean secondary streams. The first rich secondary stream and the first lean secondary stream are passed through the boiler 201 to be heated by a heating stream. The second rich secondary stream and the second lean secondary stream are passed through a re-cooler 205. There, these streams are heated again and at least partially evaporated.
