PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording method employing normally solid ink wherein an image is not lost by bending or friction of material to be recorded nor a lost image adhere to the texture to cause contamination thereof and thereby an image of natural feeling excellent in fixing properties can be provided. CONSTITUTION:In the ink jet recording method wherein normally solid ink is heated and delivered in liquid state, an overcooling ink which sustains fluid state for 30mS-10S after cooling of delivered ink below its melting point is employed and pressure is applied onto an image during 10S after cooling of ink below its melting point in order to pressure feed a part of ink. |
