PURPOSE:To dispense with the need of drilling work that has been hitherto necessary for a shield excavator body, and also to momently grasp the earth pressure distribution on the entire shield excavator body. CONSTITUTION:The stress corresponding to the strain to be produced in a shield excavator body 1 during excavation in respective measuring positions on the outside plate or the principal member of the shield excavator body 1 is measured by a strain gage 4, or the pressure corresponding to the earth pressure acting on the shield excavator body 1 during excavation is measured by a pressure gage, and the output from the strain gage 4 or the pressure gage is taken in at prescribed time intervals into data taking-in units (local scanner 5 and analog/digital data logger 6) as data. The distribution of the earth pressure/external force acting on the shield excavator body 1 is calculated and estimated by an arithmetic unit (CPU) 7 on the basis of the measured data being input through the data taking-in units and the basic data that have been previously calculated, so that the distribution of the earth pressure/external force can be momently grasped. |
