Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, which comprises a two-equivalent yellow coupler represented by the following formula: <CHEM> wherein R<1> and R<2> each represent an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group; L represents an alkylene group; X represents a divalent linking group; R<3> represents an unsubstituted alkyl group or cycloalkyl group; n represents 0 or 1; and Z represents >C(R<4>)R<5> or >NR<4> where R<4> and R<5> each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, being contained in at least one of the above silver halide emulsion layers.
