PURPOSE:To insert a synthetic resin pipe in an existing pipe without damaging the resin pipe and to certainly form the synthetic resin pipe having no irregularity in thickness to the inner surface of the existing pipe in a close contact state. CONSTITUTION:When a thermoplastic resin pipe 3 having an outer diameter 70-90% of the inner diameter of an existing pipe is heated and softened to be drawn and inserted in the existing pipe 1, the resin pipe 3 is softened by passing hot air having the softening temp. within the anti-shearing and high elastic region of the resin pipe 3 along the outside the resin pipe 3. Further, a heated pressure fluid is supplied into the resin pipe 3 from the heating hose 12 connected to the tip of the resin pipe 3 drawn in the existing pipe 1 up to the introducing port thereof to restore the shape of the resin pipe 3. |
