PURPOSE: To provide an azimuth detecting device that can detect azimuth with high accuracy regardless of the moving state of a moving body and disturbance. CONSTITUTION: In an azimuth detecting device for detecting the proceeding azimuth of a moving body, a first azimuth detecting means 2 for detecting absolute azimuth and a second azimuth detecting means 1 for detecting relative azimuth are mounted on the moving body, and a signal processing part 3 is provided to obtain true proceeding azimuth by combining the low frequency component of detected data of the first azimuth detecting means with the high frequency component of detected data of the second azimuth detecting means using a software numerical filter. |
