PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject inexpensive film, good in handleability and having a high tear strength while making the best of characteristics of a para- aramid such as high heat resistance by including a specific substrate and a specified para-aramid polymer therein. SOLUTION: This film is obtained by including (A) a porous substrate which is a woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric or a paper, composed of a fiber and/or a pulp and having <=40 g/m<2> weight per unit area, >=40% void ratio and <=70μm thickness, (B) a para-aramid polymer which is a porous para-oriented aromatic polyamide, capable of coating the component A or filling the voids of the component A and having preferably 1.0-2.8 dL/g intrinsic viscosity and, as necessary, (C) a thermoplastic polymer, meltable at the time of heat-up and <=260 deg.C and capable of blocking the voids of the components A and/or B in an amount of >=10 wt.% based on the total amount of the components A and B. |
