PURPOSE:To enable to continuously perform windings having different width of winding by a method wherein a plurality of guide parts, with which wire materials are guided in accordance with the winding having different width of winding, are formed on the main former, and a winding work is performed by switching each guide part. CONSTITUTION:A coil 11 is formed as follows. A rotary former part 11 is shifted forward, the two head parts 9 and 9 of slots 7 and 8 are fixed by the recessed part of a guide part 13, the winding gaps of the main former 2 and the side former 6 where a wire material 4 is passed through are adjusted by operating the side former, and the winding of the wire material 4 is performed. Then, pertaining to the winding of a coil 12, the slot 8 of a core 5 is moved to the front of the main former 2 by rotating a shaft 21, and a guide part 13 is switched to a guide surface 14. Said switching is performed by inserting a turret driver 20 into the driver inserting hole 19 of the main former 2 and by rotating it at an angle of 180 degrees. |
