PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the flaw detection of a short column part provided at a narrow place like the pin part of a crank throw. SOLUTION: In this automatic flaw detector 11 having a moving device attaching to the column part having a material to be inspected to move in the peripheral direction of the column part and a flaw detecting means 12 for inspecting the flaw of the material to be inspected, the flaw detecting means 12 is constituted so as to scan a region different from the column part.
