<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem type image forming apparatus that is small and capable of obtaining a high quality image. <P>SOLUTION: The tandem type image forming apparatus is configured such that a plurality of image forming units 101, 102, 103, 104 each including a photoreceptor and a developing device are arranged in series along a paper conveyance path, and toner images developed on each photoreceptor of the image forming units 101 to 104 are superposed one on another on a transfer sheet 81 conveyed by a transfer belt 11, wherein a fixing means 7 that fixes a color image transferred to a transfer sheet 81 is disposed on the paper ejection side of the transfer belt 11, and a discharge means 6 is provided on only the image forming unit 104 located on the most fixing means side among the image forming units 101 to 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
