<p>The present invention comprises an active agent reservoir that stores a quantity of an active agent, an active electrode element operable to apply an electrical potential of a first polarity to deliver at least a portion of the active agent to a biological interface from the iontophoresis device, and a communications port providing a communications path between the iontophoresis device and a remote device. A method of the invention comprises operating an interface system to remotely interact with iontophoresis devices useful in delivery of active agents to biological interfaces including providing a user interface at a location remote from at least some of the iontophoresis devices, communicating with at least two of the iontophoresis devices, and providing information about the iontophoresis devices via the user interface.</p> |
