Fuel supplied under pressure from a separate fuel tank (1) is passed through a gasification device (13-15) prior to the nozzle (6, 7) and hot burner parts (8-12). The gasification device heats the fuel passing through it and is formed by a long tube housing a damper (14) comprising an essentially incombustible and heat resistant fibre or filter material, and a porous heat distributing device (15) made from a material with high thermal conductance, e.g. metal such as brass or copper. |
