PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load in calculating signal propagation time in an integrated circuit.SOLUTION: A signal propagation time calculation apparatus 10 extracts points of a wiring pattern included in an integrated circuit, and substitutes the points with resistors and capacitors. The signal propagation time calculation apparatus 10 substitutes capacitors with capacitance that changes temporally by Miller effect, with a capacitor with capacitance of the maximum value, and a voltage source with predetermined time derivative of an output voltage. The signal propagation time calculation apparatus 10 generates an order reduction model of the integrated circuit with the substituted capacitor having capacitance that changes temporally. The signal propagation time calculation apparatus 10 transiently analyzes the integrated circuit, on the basis of the generated order reduction model, determines potentials of the points to be generated at each time and after a predetermined time from each time, to calculate signal propagation time between the points, on the basis of the determined potentials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
